Google's algorithm is built around one goal: get the child to watch another minute. To make that happen, it pushes increasingly basic, colorful, frenetic, repetitive videos. Content that doesn't teach. Content that hypnotizes the child and disconnects them from reality.

The longer they watch, the lower the content quality. And the lower the content quality, the more addictive it becomes. A loop the algorithm will keep building, at your child's expense.

What parents ask.

What happens when a video ends?

The screen stops. Nothing comes right after, no auto-suggestion, no feed. The kids choose: another video from the list you built, or they leave.

What videos can I add?

Any public YouTube video. Search from inside SafeList, paste a direct link, or import a playlist you already built. The video plays in YouTube's official player, but inside an environment fully sandboxed against navigation away.

How does the community work?

Any parent can publish a curated collection of videos, open to the whole community. Other parents browse, import the collections they like, and adapt to their kids. Remove videos that don't fit, add their own. That's how the community grows: every parent contributes their work.

Can my child bypass the restrictions?

The management area is locked behind a 4-digit PIN you set. The child can't add videos, change limits, or open blocked-hours windows. Of course they can still open another browser tab. SafeList provides a clean YouTube environment, it doesn't block the rest of the internet.

Does it run on mobile too?

Yes. SafeList runs in any browser: desktop, tablet, or phone. No app to download.

What about privacy?

We don't want your child's data. The Google sign-in is only there to identify you as a parent. Every video you curated and category you created lives in your account alone. Entonces, ¿por qué no YouTube Kids?

YouTube Kids sí filtra contenido inadecuado para niños. Esa parte realmente funciona.

Pero debajo del diseño colorido se esconde el mismo algoritmo de Google. El mismo objetivo: que los niños se queden frente a la pantalla el mayor tiempo posible. Dentro de YouTube Kids también, cuanto más mira un niño, más se degrada el contenido: más básico, más repetitivo, más 'hipnótico'. Solo que esta vez está pintado de rosa y azul.

¿Qué pasa cuando termina un video?

¿Qué videos puedo agregar?

Cualquier video público de YouTube. Buscar desde dentro de SafeList, pegar un enlace directo, o importar una lista de reproducción que ya armaste. El video se reproduce en el reproductor oficial de YouTube, pero dentro de un entorno totalmente aislado contra la navegación hacia afuera.

¿Cómo funciona la comunidad?

Cualquier padre puede publicar una colección curada de videos, abierta a toda la comunidad. Otros padres exploran, importan las colecciones que les gustan, y las adaptan a sus hijos. Quitan videos que no encajan, agregan los suyos. Así crece la comunidad: cada padre aporta su trabajo.

¿Puede mi hijo evadir las restricciones?

El área de gestión está protegida por un PIN de 4 dígitos que tú estableces. El niño no puede agregar videos, cambiar límites o abrir las ventanas de horas bloqueadas. Por supuesto que aún pueden abrir otra pestaña del navegador. SafeList ofrece un entorno limpio de YouTube, no bloquea el resto de internet.

¿Funciona también en móvil?

Sí. SafeList funciona en cualquier navegador: computadora, tableta o teléfono. Sin aplicación que descargar.

¿Qué hay sobre la privacidad?

No queremos los datos de tu hijo. El inicio de sesión con Google está ahí solo para identificarte como padre. Cada video que armaste y categoría que creaste vive solo en tu cuenta.
